At home he used free messages through the computer, he just has to be careful with his "not necessary" phone calls during the day. I hope he gets that soon. He’s 9 and doesn’t get an allowance, he gets want he needs.

He has 28cents now, meaning if he makes a phone call he won't be able to make any more calls or send messages. Let's see how it works. I'm curious, does he get an allowance? Have you considered getting a cell phone plan with unlimited text messaging? Do you feel that you are giving in to his obsession of frivolously using the cell phone if you do?
