A 9 years old colleague of my son died today…
Today it was a very sad day at my son’s school. A 9 year old girl from 4th grade died today. She suffered from leukemia and she didn’t resist a surgery she was having today.
The school received the sad news in the morning and they decided not tell the kids immediately…instead the teachers told the kids that the surgery she had didn’t result the way doctors expected and she was in a coma and that she could die at any minute. The bad news were told in the afternoon and it was a shock for the kids and the classes end up in tears.
My son is very touched and has been talking about it since I picked him up at daycare. He keeps saying that life is not fair. He asked me to sleep in his bed and I intend to. The funeral is tomorrow afternoon so the kids will only have school in the morning. I believe it will be an emotional morning for them.
Life really isn’t fair!!!!
