Movie Time: Horton Hears a Who
As soon as I can get animation movies for my kids we watch them. The last one we watched was: Horton Hears a Who! from 20th Century Fox Animation.
A real cute Elephant living in jungle Nool starts hearing voices from a clover. He notices that the voices come from a small speck of dust that landed in the pink flower.
Although his friends make fun of him, he starts talking with the voices and gets responses. Of course his friends from the jungle think he is crazy, he really is talking a inhabitants of Whoville, a small funny looking civilization. From now on Horton’s life changes and so does our.
The story touches several important points like:
- Should our kids be afraid to tell us what they want to be in the future or should they let us impose their future?
- Should we put our friends aside just because they start acting differently?
- Should we judge others without prove?
- Help a friend when he asks for it.
This is really a family movie. It’s funny, touches our hearts and it is worth to be seen by all family members. Available in several versions:
