		<description>I feel the same way --- a person&#039;s name should be pronounced how they would pronounce it.  I recently launched a site www.howtosaythatname.com with audio links just as you have posted of how people say their names. It&#039;s part of your identity. And like another blogger http://tinyurl.com/6kxo8y recently said, it isn&#039;t about you not being able to remember or pronounce someone else&#039;s name, it&#039;s about them and showing the effort to respect their identity. As for place names (Paris and Norway/Norge come to mind), that&#039;s not as easy to control.</description>
