Field Trip to the Park & Zoo S. Inacio

My son and daughter today went on a field trip with school. My son had already gone in at least two trips, for my daughter it was the first one. They went to visit the Park & Zoo S. Ignacio in the north of the country so this was the longest trip they have ever done without us.
They were both very excited with the trip, but in the last moment my daughter “collapsed”. When she was already inside the bus and really realized they were going away she started crying, crying saying she wanted her mother. I was outside the bus and tried not to worry too much because she was not the only one crying, it was her first “goodbye” for a school trip so I was sure she would be fine.
My son took a cell phone so I could be in contact with them and know what was going on. So by the time I’m writing this post, they are already in the park having lunch and my daughter is fine. The crying was only on the departure.
This Park & Zoo, although not far from the coast has no Outer Banks look. Instead the park looks like a small forest. This is not the biggest Zoo in the country but it has a lot of green spaces, beautiful animals, pedagogic activities, etc..
The kids will arrive by the end of the afternoon and I can’t wait to hear their description of the trip.
