Sunday May 3rd was Mother’s Day in our country and it was a really special day for me.

As usual my husband got up at 7am and went out for a ride. The kids woke up at 9.10am and I was instructed to not open the eyes. They both went downstairs and I could hear them in the kitchen making some noise with plates and trays. A few minutes later they come to my room with my breakfast and some gifts they made at school and daycare.

Breakfast was two toasts and a cup of milk with coffee in a tray together with a small jar with a flower they picked up in our garden.

The gifts were poems, drawings, a photo frame, a car key holder and a brooch. I could see that the gifts were made with so much love. I was hugged and kissed and it felt sooooo goooood.
