SunFlowers in my garden

I must confess sunflowers are not my favorite flowers because they grow way too high and I prefer to watch them in big fields where I can see them all together from the distance.

This year my son insisted in having sunflowers in the garden because he was curious about this flower that it’s higher than he is. This photo was taken a few days ago in our garden and it has a special meaning to me. Here is the story around the sunflower:

When I started blogging my kids had blog names: My son was Sol and my daughter was Flor. These are Portuguese words and in English they mean:

Sol= Sun    /    Flor=Flower

In Portuguese Soleflor means Sol e Flor = Sun and Flower = SunFlower

The SunFlower represent the beginning of my blogging and of my kids while in the blooging world.
