European Car Free Day
Tuesday 22th is the European Car Free Day and all environmental friendly vehicles are welcome to circulate in the city. There are related activities scheduled for that day but for me it won’t make a difference. My kids have school, I have to work so we have to use our car. I can’t participate in any activities because I will be working all day. I don’t know if schools will be participating in the activities, but if they don’t, children won’t be aware of the special day because they will be in school.
Although I know these special days have a scheduled day, I think some activities should be schedule during the weekend so that everyone can participate.
Every day new companies and associations are formed to bring the environmental awareness to the public. Companies in general are changing their way to see the environment and are improving their working methods ( moving companies New York is one of them) like using:
- less paper in the office
- recycled paper
- energy saving light bulbs
- etc.
