Resusing and Help Others
Sometimes, when we reach the end of the weekend we say, where did the weekend go? Well, this was a weekend that I can say I did valuable work that I can in fact really notice. Reusing and helping others was the main subject.
For my son’s birth I bought a set of bedroom products. One of the products was a white braided straw chest where I used to put his towels, diapers and some clothes. I didn’t use the chest in my daughter’s room so it was placed in the basement in the toy’s room and has been used to keep toys, but I always thought that it deserved a better use.
My son’s room has no wardrobe, we use a set of drawers to put his underwear and pajamas, the other clothes are in my daughter’s room three doors wardrobe. So, my idea was to bring the chest up to my son’s room and use it to put the clothes for one week.
My son’s room has a blue wall so I painted the chest of a different tone of blue and it looks great. I wish I had taken some before pictures but I completely forgot and I can’t take the after photos yet because, and this is the worse thing of digital cameras, the battery is not charged so tomorrow I hope to take some shots of the reusing makeover.
Now the helping others part, I checked my kids clothes and the one that, at the first look, don’t fit anymore are all packed and prepared to go to distribution, this means, to other people and at least one institution.
I think this weekend I did my share by reusing and helping others so, I really feel I did something this weekend.
