Helen has incorporated information on temperament in her "Is This a Phase? Child Development & Parent Strategies, Birth to 6 Years," and in her recently published revision to "Mommy! I Have to Go Potty!" When my kids were being toilet-trained, I certainly didn't think about how their temperaments affected the pace of the training process! BTW, Parenting Press's monthly, News for Parents, www.parentingpress.com/ezine.html, is running articles on RRRRRR this year: resolve to recycle, reuse, repurpose, repair.
