Time to Go Outdoors and Enjoy The Good Weather
The days are getting warmer and the need to be outdoors is increasing. However due to my father’s hospitalization / death / and all the paperwork we have to take care when a close relative dies, I can say that I’m exhausted. Emotionally and physically.
School is over and both kids are at home as well as neighbors whose parents are working and seek some company in my house with my kids. This is not helping me regain strength to keep up with my usual routine. I feel tired, sleepy and lethargic.
Now comes the weekend, my mother is coming to my house on Sunday to have lunch with us. It is the first time the kids will see my mother after my father’s death so I think, especially my youngest one, is going to make her a lot of questions.
Next week one of the neighbors next door is going camping (Iupiii) and I will have two less kids to put up with.
Monday and following days I have to start to live again. I intend to go to the beach and walk along the ocean with the kids. I didn’t do that in Spring because only a few people were on the beach and I was always afraid of thieves or rapists. I never learned self defense tactics so, I have to be extra careful. Now that Summer is here, many people goes to the beach everyday. Some just walk on the walking paths and now I’m more comfortable about going there alone with the kids.
The kids sleep most of the morning so I’m going to take advantage of that time to update my blogs and read other blogs. In the afternoon we have the pool at home and when the heat decreases we can go for a walk. The play park although a little far away maybe we can go there by foot instead of using the car. We exercise, save money in gas and help the environment. All in one!!
