Thursday we went to Kidzania. I believe United States doesn’t have this park. It is a city for children aged 3 to 15 where they are treated as adults. It has everything a normal city has: supermarket, post office, hospital, school, travel agency, nightclub, etc.. When the children enter the park they receive Kiddos (Kidzania Money)…

My kids have been asking me to go to the movies for quite some time, so I decided to choose an interesting movie and the three of us went to the Cinema (daddy at work…).

So, we went to watch Nanny McPhee Returns.

The daycare my kids used to attend has always a lot of Summer activities. Although they are at home with me since I quit my job, my son and daughter (and myself) have a great connection with the daycare and the personal. We went there to visit on Tuesday and we were informed of the activities they were having this week. Wednesday we went to the daycare director’s house pool and yesterday we joined them in a camping park.

This week I had a crazy week at home, I can say it was house full of kids. Between nephews and neighbor boy and girls I had an average of five kids per day in the pool.

So far I’m surviving this week alone with the kids although yesterday it was quite a busy days. A neighbor boy and girls came to our house to play in the pool. I must confess that I like to have the kids here, enjoying each other, playing and having fun but it’s really noisy and I come to I point I can’t hear them anymore.

One week ago my father died and today my mother came to my house to have lunch with us and spend the afternoon. Although very emotive when she meets someone that gives her condolences, but I’m sure soon she will overcome it.

The days are getting warmer and the need to be outdoors is increasing. However due to my father’s hospitalization / death / and all the paperwork we have to take care when a close relative dies, I can say that I’m exhausted. Emotionally and physically.

It’s done. The green we had around the house is almost gone. The green is disappearing all over the place; sometimes replaced by new buildings other times it’s just a wood business where the land owners sell the wood to furniture companies.

Having a green environment…

School is almost ending and this will be the first time in my life that I will be with the kids at home during summer vacations. I really don’t know how it is going to be. My husband will be working and only having vacations in August so I will be dealing with two active and demanding kids by myself.
