Having two kids that are growing at a very fast pace makes me stop in time from time to time to memorize the important moments. Whether they are funny, happy, or enjoyable moments or if it is just a random moment, I like to capture it and save it in digital format.

Just the other day my daughter and I spent two hours watching old photos and videos from her and her brother when they were little. She personally prefer to watch the videos. Important moments like a Christmas party at school or a ballet dance at daycare bring light to her eyes.

With smartphones at very accessible prices it is very easy to join connectivity with digital image capture. Smartphones, such as the brand new Samsung Mobile Galaxy S II, are ideal to capture the special moments in our kids life.

With the new Stage phone we can capture the moment, save it to a PC or share it through social media sites or email. There is no excuse not to capture those moments that will last a lifetime.

First we create our profile and we can choose an avatar for our image. Avatars are interesting, funny and can express what we are. Then we can go to the Read tab where we have available 1296 (until today) children’s books to read and learn from. The books have amazing illustrations, they are attractive and they tell interesting stories that children will love. The navigation method is very easy to use and the kids have the ability to take as long as they want to read the book. Some books have related quizzes available so that children can test if they captured all the information they read in the book.

Books can be added to the personal bookshelf to be find easily later on. Books can be shared with friends that you and your children add to their profile, so that your friends are updated with what you are reading. You can also recommend a book to a friend so he can enjoy a book you liked.

A great feature is to create books online. We have thousands of images to choose from, different subjects, backgrounds, themes so that we can write the book we have been dreaming for. Imagine you have a girl who loves princess stories, you can create a story at her image and she will get the book she wanted, created especially for her. If she wants she can then share the book with her friends to show her creation.

This is a great experience for children and adults (parents, teachers) and I would like to share with you how wonderful this website is.

Do you remember the Smashies Giveaways I had last month? The winner was Robin and I asked for a review after the Smashies arrived. Well the Smashies arrived at Robin’s house, were sampled and here is the review:

I recently won a case of Smashies and was so excited to try them. Let me say they are wonderful! Not only was it great to have a healthy portable snack,

It was great to have a snack that was not messy. They were so yummy! In my house they were loved not only by the 3 year olds, but also by 40 years old.

I would recommend these to anyone looking for a great tasting healthy snack for kids or adults.

Since last Saturday that I’m having a bad cold. Stuffy and running nose, cough, headache, very low temperatures and air conditioned at work have been a constant presence. The need for vacation is killing me and I’ve been too tired at night to spend some time in the computer.
